Challenge: Launch and position the first women’s sports bar in Cleveland with a strong brand identity and community-focused approach.
Approach: Developed brand identity, messaging, and marketing strategy while executing pre-launch digital content to drive awareness.
Impact: Built a community-driven brand with an engaged audience before official opening our doors.

I’m Allyssa 👋🏼 – a brand builder, product marketer, and all-around creative with over 10 years of experience in SaaS and early-stage startups. Throughout my career, I’ve taken on a variety of roles, from high-level strategy to hands-on execution, helping businesses grow from seed to Series B by leading product launches, demand generation campaigns, and brand partnerships.I’ve also run Product teams; I was promoted to Director of Product at Postal because of my ability to lead cross-functionally and align diverse teams. Having worn both Product Marketing and Product Management hats, I’m well-versed in collaborating effectively across teams to bridge gaps and ensure alignment. I inherited an engineering/product team that needed to buy into a new vision, and I focused on getting them engaged in the “why” behind strategic decisions – something I’m always happy to dive deeper into because it’s an approach that’s proven to work.Beyond that, I co-founded State Champs, a community-based streetwear brand, and launched and sold the first-ever sports coffee shop – blending my love for innovation and sports. These entrepreneurial projects taught me how to connect with audiences, build brand stories from scratch, and navigate the challenges of scaling in uncertain or new markets. Today, I am part of the ownership group bringing the first women's sports bar to Cleveland.I thrive in opportunities where I can partner with brands to help them find their voice and execute impactful strategies. As a product manager, I gain deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, prioritize stakeholder asks and the product roadmap, and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive user retention and growth.I define user stories and create a clean and attainable product backlog within a very-well organized Jira Board (custom statuses anyone?). I collaborate (and sometimes design if needed) with designers in Figma and include highly detailed product requirements in Jira tickets for engineers to work from. I maintain or implement product process and strategy using agile methodology based on a 2-week or 1-month sprint schedule.
